GENERAL ORDER OF COMMEMORATION AND
ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE
Federal law establishes public holidays for federal employees. These
holidays are observed through the granting of administrative leave to the staff of the
offices of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of West Virginia.
Inasmuch as Independence Day falls on Saturday, July 4, 2026, the holiday will be
observed on Friday, July 3, 2026.
